Probity is excited to announce the release of Truxton Community Edition (Truxton CE), a free version of the popular Truxton analytical platform that automatically discovers, tags, and correlates artifacts collected from a wide range of digital forensics collection tools.

Digital forensics has come a long way over the last 25 years. We can get more data out of PCs, phones, drones, automobiles, and cloud sources than ever before. Unfortunately, the cost of the hardware, software and storage has risen to a level that is often beyond the budget of smaller law enforcement organizations, district attorney, prison and parole offices, colleges and university police departments, and the academic community. 

Our goal with Truxton CE is to provide an affordable alternative that fits into the digital forensics toolbox that automates processing and analysis in cases where a full physical extraction may not be necessary, timely, or affordable. It’s our way of giving back to the digital forensics community and hope that Truxton CE can help make solving any case faster, easier and more efficient than ever before.
